Terms of Service

1. Service Description

Realise.money is a personal finance application that helps you track transactions, manage budgets, and plan your financial future. The service is provided as-is by an independent developer.

2. Free Tier

Every account includes 15 free transactions. Once this limit is reached, you must make a payment to continue adding transactions. All other features remain accessible regardless of payment status.

3. Payment

Realise.money uses a pay-what-you-want model with a minimum payment of $1.00 USD. Payments are one-time and processed securely through Stripe. All payments are non-refundable.

4. Source Code & Self-Hosting

Users who pay $13.99 or more will be invited as a collaborator to the private GitHub repository containing the full application source code. You may use this code to self-host Realise.money on your own infrastructure for personal use. You may not redistribute, sublicense, or publicly share the source code.

5. Right to Discontinue

The developer reserves the right to discontinue, modify, or suspend the service at any time, with or without notice. While reasonable effort will be made to notify users of significant changes, no guarantee of continued availability is provided.

6. Data Handling

Your financial data is stored securely and is never sold or shared with third parties. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting the developer.

7. Not Financial Advice

Realise.money is a budgeting and tracking tool only. Nothing in this application — including projections, investment estimates, or any other figures — constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Past performance of any index (such as the S&P 500) is not indicative of future results. Always consult a qualified financial advisor before making investment decisions.

8. Limitation of Liability

Realise.money is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. The developer is not liable for any damages arising from the use of this service, including but not limited to financial decisions made based on data presented by the application. Use this service at your own risk.
